The first theme of #Photo101 is Home. It’s quite late, actually, but please, do accept it.
My home. Its veranda, actually. Or is it called a porch? Either way, I just love spending my afternoon there, bathed in warm sunlight.
Walk closer and you’ll find this:
About the wall, oh, it’s from my father and his friend’s experiment. They want to make andesite-like material, for creating the walls just like…
My mother surely got furious when she first heard the experiment. “Look, you made our house like a temple. It’s dusty, you know. Now who will clean all of this dust? You surely won’t want to, I know.”
“Hey, it’s art,” my father replied. “At least we could make this house looked… classic, as if it were built on 8th century.”
“Too classic,” I murmured.
“So you think this won’t do for our porch?” My father looked at me.
“I didn’t say that!”
Mother’s turn. “So you want to clean all of this mess?”
“Of course… what do you want me to do, mother, I’ll do.”
Of course in the end I didn’t do all that, as I shifted everything to my older sister.
Oh, how my home holds my heart!
And how I miss that kind of conversation, too.
